About

All About Me
Well, lets see where do i begin....I'm an only child. I definitely think this has a huge impact on who I am as a person and what I've done with my life. Yea I'm kinda bossy. Yea I'm kinda Type A. Yea I'm a control freak! I've learned to live with it.

My dogs are the center of my world! I think they're the cutest things in this entire universe! No matter how bad of a day or how grumpy I am, they always greet me with their delicious bully kisses! There's nothing that compares to a slobbery snorty bully kiss....sorry fellas they just can't be beat.

I believe passion is what drives me through life. I love surrounding myself with passionate people and think everyone has a story to tell. I have the most amazing friends from all walks of life. I've been so blessed to be surrounded by such an amazing, loving and supportive group of people!

The Job
My work is a huge part of my life. Lets be honest...I love sales...I'm good at sales...and I see really cool stuff running around hospitals all day long!  There are plenty of days where I moan and groan about the work I do...hey it ain't easy! But, at the end of the day (sometimes week) it really is the best industry ever!

I've been at my current job for almost 2 years now! Wow, I can't believe it. Last year, was a big year for me in my career. I won Rookie of the Year and finished #4 in the rankings. It was a huge accomplishment and something I worked all year to achieve. It was the most incredible feeling to be on stage in front of all of my peers accepting my award. I even got to give a little speech...I'll spare you the details of that!

Surprisingly, I'm pretty shy. I know what you're thinking! How are you shy and in sales? I don't really know! Seems to work for me though. I often find myself sitting in my car outside of a hospital telling myself "You can do this. Just go in and talk to the people. Tell 'em what you got! You can do it!"

Fitness & Food
I love food! Maybe this should be titled food & fitness? But..I love fitness too. I don't know I've grown up with both. Heck, it was fitness that allowed my parents to meet. Have time for a quick story? Good! So, my mom moves to Arizona from Iowa and my dad from Alabama. My mom, a swimmer all her life, decides she's going to get into Tae Kwon Do. She joins a Tae Kwon Do studio where my dad is already member. However, he isn't the only studly fella there. There also happens to be another guy! The long of the short is my dad won her over. Guess how? First, he had a motorcycle and second it had darth vader on the side! Whoah! Go Mom!

Anyway, the point of that story was that growing up I was very active! My family continued to do Tae Kwon Do together. Yea, I've got a black belt so watch out! I rode horses all of the time. I had a personal trainer and lifted weights. I was an active kid who loved food! Especially southern fried food! Don't judge my pops comes from 'bama! We like ourselves some goood eats!

So, I "struggle" to balance fitness and food in my life. It really is a happy struggle though since I Iove both. I enjoy eating healthy yummy foods and don't mind a few indulgences here and there and probably here again. Healthy food make me feel the best both inside and out. I love making creative meals and enjoy trying new foods. I balance my eats with some healthy working out. I mix up cardio and weigh training. I've currently set a goal for myself to add more muscle to my physique. Sooo I've gotta get pumping!

What's in the name?

I chose to call my blog "Peanut butter Kisses" because of my love of nut butter and bully kisses.  I really could put peanut butter, almond butter heck any nut butter on anything I eat! I just can't get enough! And, well, i feel the same way about my bully's kisses! So, there ya have it. Simple, sweet, and slobbery!
