Up....Up...and some more UP!

Well folks, whaddya doin' this weekend??? I'll be moving up vertically quite a bit this weekend! Saturday is STADIUM SATURDAY per usual!!!!!!!

Yes, I will once again be tackling those darn stadiums that left they're mark on my shin a few weeks back.

Sunday is.....well for a lack of catchphrase.....I'm going hiking Sunday morning.

That's uh me last year when I tackled that really big mountain in Alaska...ok i kid i kid. BUT I am very excited about my hike on Sunday. I bought my first Camelbak! Holla!!!!

The pops is not too thrilled about my new adventure on Sunday....Our conversation went something like this... (Note: All of Pops' lines are with thick 'bama speak)

Me: Hey Daddy boo butt guess what?!

Pops: What's that baby girl ('bama speak #1)

Me: I'm going hiking on Sunday as a new exciting cardio activity. I'm trying to mix it up a bit ya know?1

Pops: WHAT?!?! I don't think thats a good idea

Me: Why is that?

Pops: I worked hard right there ('bama speak #2) on creatin' that cute lil' face of yours ('bama speak #3) and one stumble and we know you're a clutz and you're gonna ruin that right there cute face of yours ('bama speak #4)

Me: Hmmf well i'm goin' anyway cause i wanna

Pops: Of course you will...you never listen to your dad...never once...not even when you were in your mom's belly and i told you to be a boy and come early to miss that tax cutoff

Hope you have a nice weekend kids! Be Safe and if you live in the Southwest staaaayyyy cool! Its burnin' up out here!!!!

Interesting concept, eh?

Out With The New....In With The Old!

While I was in Ohio my friend and I did some shopping. Now contrary to what some may think, I really am not much of a shopper. I'd much rather find what I like and buy 5 of them so that they last me for years. Or I shop online and just re-order items. Lazy? Nah! Quirky? Defnitely!

Nonetheless, I had a great time shopping with Crystal at this area called Short North! They had some amazing boutiques! I found some really great items. My most favorite item were theeesseee....awww they're like me in shoe form!
Aren't they sooooo freaking cute? And they are super duper comfortable! How can you beat that!?

We also did some antique shopping for Crystal's house. They have such great finds up there! I haven't been antique shopping in foooorever! I guess I had a negative stigma towards it because my mom used to drag me around for hours in antique stores when I was little. I just remember thinking they smelt funny, my feet hurt, and I was always hungry! Oh man, I have been missing out!!

There are so many great things to be had at these antique stores! Beautiful furniture, lights, dishes and even great jewelry! I felt such a great feeling walking through these stores wondering about all the stories behind everthing. How did this piece get here? Who gave who this ring? And why? And when? And why is it here now?!

All of this shopping really inspired me to look for vintage items! I love jewelry and cute eclectic dishes. I can't stop surfing the web (again i don't like "going out" shopping) for some cute finds!

I highly recommend taking advantage of your local antique stores to find cute unique pieces to add to your own collections!!

Have a great Sunday! I'm off to see Inception this afternoon!

xoxo
